Chef Juancarlos Martinez

Nico’s Café, Waynesville

After graduating from Asheville-Buncombe Technical Community College, where he led the culinary club, Juancarlos Martinez worked all across Western North Carolina to gain as much culinary experience as he could. He has competed in culinary competitions, and placed first in the A-B Tech Annual Cook-off. Martinez is a member of the American Culinary Federation as well as Disciple de la Toque Blanche.
