Getting to the Festival

By Air

Asheville Regional Airport offers jet and commuter service on AirtranContinentalDeltaUS AirwaysUnited and Vision Airlines. The airport provides daily nonstop service to eight cities and connecting service worldwide. Ground transportation and major rental car companies are available at the airport terminal. 

By Bus

National: Greyhound Bus Lines serve Asheville; its bus station is located on Tunnel Road, approximately one mile from Downtown Asheville.
Local: Asheville Transit Authority provides service throughout the city.

By Taxi

Several taxi cab services operate in the Asheville area.

By Car

Getting to the Festival by car is easy and convenient. Some of the more popular routes are listed below. Interstate 40 and Interstate 26 are the most popular routes to reach Asheville.

Atlanta, GA

Follow Interstate 85 north into South Carolina to Greenville. Take I-185 north at exit 42 and then exit to US Highway 25 north. Follow US 25 north into North Carolina, and continue to I-26 west.
Driving time: approximately 3 hours 30 minutes.

Charleston, SC

Follow Interstate 26 west to Asheville.
Driving time: approximately 4 hours.

Charlotte, NC

Follow Interstate 85 south to US Highway 321 in Gastonia (exit 17) and then follow US 321 north to I-40. Take I-40 west to Asheville.
Driving time: approximately 2 hours.

From the East

Follow Interstate 40 west to Asheville.
Driving time: approximately 3 hours 30 minutes.
