Virginia Aberle Bio:
Virginia Aberle is currently working on obtaining her Bachelors of Fine Arts from UNC-Asheville and working on her graduating solo show in her last semester. The Miami-born artist has lived in Asheville, North Carolina the past ten years. In the Summer of 2008 she obtained a prestigious internship in London to work for renowned British artist Stuart Semple. Along with this internship she has gained knowledge through interning at Phil Mechanic. More recently, she obtained a prestigious grant from North Carolina to paint this past summer in El Salvador, where her family is from for two months. With this research grant, she intends to be published and recognized as an Undergraduate Research scholar.
