Bio:

It's hard to say how long I have painted or drawn, but I know I've had a connection to artistic expression since I was a small child. I guess you could say that I'm an "untrained artist," in the formal sense, although I have spent time with a few inspired artists whose work challenges me. Otherwise, I have always painted to allow my passions for expression, color and the "story" to lead me in my work.

Over the past six years, I've spent my time in my studio focusing on the many faces of women around the world. It has only been in the last few years that I have felt ready to share my work with others. As such, I have donated several pieces to raise funds to support non-profit organizations that help and empower women. I have given my time to listen to the stories of women in my community, and at large, who are finding their voices and their way. In the traditional sense, I have not yet chosen to show my work in exhibits, galleries or museums; but I feel now is time to do so. I welcome the opportunity to continue to share my work and my artistic journey, and through it, to share the stories of women around the World.
