On The Verge submission - morganbaileyventures

Our history as Morgan Bailey Ventures LLC is a relatively short one. The two of us first met in 2005, despite growing up in neighboring towns and going to Brevard College at the same time. When we met I, Aaron Bailey, owned a business that specialized in tree work, portable saw milling, and “elevated pathways.” Jesse Morgan owned a business that created fine rustic furniture and architectural accents.

Our first project together was a black locust bridge that highlighted the natural character of that species as well as our combined skills. A few years later we opened a gallery in Lake Toxaway, NC to showcase our work and the work of other local artisans. What started as tree work and rustic furniture evolved into Rustic Edge Furnishings, furniture and sculpture that highlights the natural beauty of wood using a combination of traditional and modern designs and techniques.

In 2010 we moved our galley from Lake Toxaway to Asheville, NC and changed the name to “The Edge Gallery.” Our current designs reflect a refinement of our treatment of natural woods which are at the heart of our creations.
