On The Verge submission - melissa glaze

Melissa Glaze is a graduate of East Tennessee State University where she recieved her BFA in painting. She has been a resident of Asheville for two years. In her time here she has been written about in The Mountain Express as well as The Rapid River. Her local live painting performances include two years at LAAFF, The Asheville Art Museum's 60th Anniversary Party, The Roller Girls Benefit, The Flat Rock Music Festival, The Drone Valley Music Fest, as well as working with many local bands at their shows. She is also one of the artists that work on the Asheville Mural Project, and is one the designers for the upcoming argricultural mural to be completed under the bridge on Lexington Avenue.
