On The Verge submission - lbilbs14

I have a B.S. and M.S. in Biology, which is where the preference for nature photography comes. During my undergraduate studies, I also minored in photography, where I learned most of my basic knowledge of photography. I currently hold a Biologist position and photography is a hobby. As a hobby, I have entered photo contests, have photos for sale online, and even had a small show at a local coffee shop. I have been somewhat successful with all three. One of my photos was published in the Wildlife in North Carolina magazine, it won second place in Wild Plants category for the 2009 Photo Competition.
