Wendy Barrett is an artist and teacher who lived most of her life in the San Francisco Bay Area and now lives in Asheville, North Carolina. She worked as a commercial artist in New York and California and authored books for an educational CD company. She is presently marketing a book she wrote and illustrated, as well as doing her artwork with wood. The book facilitates positive communication between patients and their families and hospice volunteers, again fitting her theme of creating artwork for meaningful interaction with people.
