My boyhood wanderings in the woods and messing about in boats led me to initially pursue professions in biology and oceanography. After obtaining the necessary degrees I did research on larval fish and lobsters in Florida, marine invertebrates in South Carolina, and birds and frogs in Arizona. A more creative side eventually resurfaced, I taught myself a lot of stuff, and for the past 11 years I have been a full time independant artist. During this time I have exhibited in photography, fiber, oil painting, and mixed media.
