On The Verge submission - chadadair

Chad Adair was born in Atlanta Georgia and grew up in the south
in the late Sixties. At an early age Chad discovered that he
could express himself through his drawings better than he could
with the spoken word. The fluid space between his head and the
paper were full of imaginary worlds and unlimited possibilities.
His love of drawing, painting and photography as visual
languages gave him the tools that he could use to further his
artistic passions.

In 1992 Chad received a BFA in Painting & Photography from
Western Carolina University and then went on to explore film and
video at the Academy of Art in San Francisco, where he earned a
MFA in Film & Video.

After graduating from the Academy he
moved to Los Angeles to pursue a
career in directing for television and
film. After 10 years of marginal
successes Chad realized that his true
passion was painting and decided to
move back to the south to reconnect.
With a strong understanding of the
materials, a great eye for composition
and an open mind, Chad is now creating
some of his most compelling work to
date.
