After more than 11,000 votes, music fans from across the country have chosen four finalists out of 52 Western North Carolina bands and musicians in the initial round of the Last Band Standing: Road to Bele Chere ’09 competition.
There is one more round of online voting before the finalists take the stage for the live competition.
Your online votes from now until July 7th will count for 50% of each band’s final score. The other 50% will be determined by their performance and crowd reaction during The Orange Peel concert. There will be a panel of judges on hand to score each band, and announce the winner.
So vote now, and vote often for your favorite act. Your support can help them become The Last Band Standing.

Buster Buster is a band in Asheville, NC playing gritty in-your-face blues rock and guitar legend rock. The band features guitarist Alec Fehl, drummer Harry Lewis, bassist Bob Butcher, and vocalist Jeremy Abee. The name “Buster” comes from Jimi Hendrix.
