After more than 16,000 votes, music fans from across the country chose four finalists out of 62 Western North Carolina bands and musicians in the initial round of the Last Band Standing: Road to Bele Chere ’09 competition. After another round of voting and a one-of-a-kind concert at The Orange Peel, Now You See Them were named the Last Band Standing.

Buster Buster is a band in Asheville, NC playing gritty in-your-face blues rock and guitar legend rock. The band features guitarist Alec Fehl, drummer Harry Lewis, bassist Bob Butcher, and vocalist Jeremy Abee. The name “Buster” comes from Jimi Hendrix. It was his nickname as a kid – after the Flash Gordon actor Buster Crabbe.
