Soup du Jour

Witty dialogue sets the pace for this musical parody of 1930s screwball comedies. When Stewart Bailey’s father passes, his son inherits the family restaurant­­, but not the famous soup recipe that attracts all the customers. Star reporter Katherine Hawks goes undercover to find and publish the recipe, but is sidetracked by love. Meanwhile, Bailey’s gold-digging fiancée and Hawks’ desperate editor join the search.
