Polar Bear Plunge

The Asheville Racquet Club will host the 4th Annual Polar Bear Plunge to benefit Meals On Wheels of Asheville and Buncombe County. Located off Hendersonville Rd. in South Asheville, the ARC will open their outdoor swimming pool, complete with diving board, for this year’s plunge.

Over the past three years, the annual winter event has raised nearly $30,000 for Meals On Wheels of Asheville and Buncombe County. A post-jump hot chili lunch will be served in the ARC clubhouse at a cost of $7.00 per person. The public is invited to attend and cheer on their favorite jumper.
