Off-Road Assault on Mount Mitchell

This 63-mile bicycle route is a rugged course with more than 11,000 feet of climbing. Beginning and ending outside the Mountain Gateway Museum in Old Fort, this 10th annual race takes bikers on the Blue Ridge Parkway twice and near the peak of Mount Mitchell on scenic service roads.
