Biltmore Flower Carpet

The south terrace of Biltmore House features a 14,400-square-foot flower carpet comprised of more than 100,000 blooms. Shades of red, orange, blue, and yellow mimic the stained glass windows from George Vanderbilt’s home, which were designed by John La Forge in the 1880s.
